The Management Team
Garland graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, served in nuclear submarines, qualifying as a nuclear reactor Engineer Officer and a Nuclear Weapons Officer. After the Navy, Garland served in the U.S. Department of Energy, serving in progressive leadership roles, including serving six years in the career Senior Executive Service (SES). His roles at DOE included leading the Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy program and serving as the U.S. Representative to the International Energy Agency (IEA). Garland holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America and completed the Executive Program at the Wharton Business School.
